We tailor the sound to the venue, its capacity and the performance: connecting the guitar, mixing with the DJ and ensuring the musicians can hear properly. We check the venue’s existing equipment or suggest what is required. The quote details set-up, dismantling and, if necessary, support from a technician.
The booth and the guitarist’s area are integrated into the décor without obstructing the audience’s view. We check access points, power supply and location before setting up. For outdoor events, we agree on a sheltered area and an alternative venue in case the weather changes.
We can provide ambient lighting for the cocktail reception, dance floor lighting or decorative features. We’ll recommend a set-up based on the venue and the atmosphere you’re aiming for, and we’ll set out exactly what’s included in the proposal.
We are familiar with the venue, the audience, the timetable and the atmosphere you are looking for. For a corporate event, we also take into account the brand identity and the organiser’s programme.
You share your favourite tracks, the songs you like and the ones you’d rather avoid. If there are guests with different tastes, we try to strike a balance and agree on how to handle requests.
We decide exactly when the guitar comes in, how long each performance lasts and which tracks require preparation. The DJ ensures there is a smooth musical flow between the performances.
We liaise with the venue regarding the space, electricity, access, noise restrictions and the equipment available. If sound, lighting or a technician are required, we set this out in detail in the proposal.
We organise the set-up times and the soundcheck before the performance, ensuring the balance between the guitar and the DJ set.

Get in touch as soon as you have an approximate date and venue. You’ll need to check the availability of the DJ and the guitarist, particularly during the wedding season or at times when there are lots of events.
We need to check the space for the two artists, ensure there is a suitable power supply, and confirm access points and permitted performance times. For outdoor venues, we also need to consider protection from the sun and rain. We will agree with the venue on the equipment, the sound check and any volume restrictions.
The duration and the performances are set out in the proposal. We can focus the guitar performance on the cocktail reception or at various points during the party, whilst the DJ keeps the music going between the live sets.
